Is there really a better place to see the sun go down than here on chesil beach?
With that amazing shoreline curving it’s way towards Lyme Regis…
Nature in all its amazing glory!
Hard to see where. 🙂
The best thing is the range of sunsets we see at different times of the year, the one above is spring time. The sun sets much nearer to the cliffs of course. Naturally.
Looking at the summer sunsets you can see that they are much further along the beach. The one below is about half way through the summer months. Still out to sea but much further along. By the end of the summer you are almost looking in the opposite direction to see the sunset. 🙂
Looking at the picture right at the top of this page, you see it is right over the other end of the beach.
It’s stunning whatever time of the year it is, I’m sure you’ll agree. It is to our benefit we get to see the sun set on the sea, so many have never seen that in their whole lifetime, sad in a way, yet we see it daily!
It’s no coincidence non of us locals take them for granted. How can we? … all we can do is enjoy them.
I never tire of seeing the sun set on the sea at chesil beach.
Here is one Dan took tonight. 🙂
